It is a life-long gift that she was able to challenge herself with exciting parts, to try a paired dance, and to learn that even a traumatic dress rehearsal is not the end of the world! Watching my child, and her entire class, develop confidence and grace, and perform with such joy, has been such a wonderful experience for us as her parents (and for her aunt Hope, as well, who never missed a show).

I am so grateful that my child had the opportunity to have such high quality instruction in an environment that had room for different types of dancers and all the emotions and stress of the adolescent years, and beyond. They literally grew up in front of your mirrors (sometimes a tough place to be during those years) with the support and empathy of your amazing instructors. I really don't think that they would have grown as a dancer in any other environment.

Colette Linton-Meyer is the founder of Cobble Hill Ballet. Trained at the Royal Academy of Dance in London, England, Colette is a licentiate of the Royal Academy, which is recognized worldwide. She has been teaching this method of training for the past 25 years in New York and has trained dancers of all ages. We have 2 different programs for students. Once a week Ballet or the “Intensive track”- which requires multiple times a week depending on age.
“It is a joy for me to follow these children and see them blossom into young adults. Many children start in Pre Ballet and we are lucky enough to help them along the journey and see them leave for college. My aim for them is to leave CHB with a great love of dance which will be in their lives forever”
